Give Back To Your Community This Holiday Season
Every night in Australia more than 105,000 people are homeless and the Holiday season can be a particularly hard time for many people.
Give back this Christmas to the people who need your help the most. A little goes a long way!
Here are some of the ways you can give back!
Food Hampers
Each Christmas, The Smith Family distributes over 25,000 food hampers to families in need. These hampers are supplied, delivered and packed by over 2,000 volunteers – and they need you to help out.

The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal also distributes gifts and food hampers to disadvantaged families. You can help by donating goods, packing or delivering hampers.

Homeless Shelters
All year round, various shelters accept food donations and other products.
You can also contact your local shelter to see what they need as well.
Mission Australia runs “Christmas Lunch in the Park” to people in need in Perth for a place to go on Christmas Day with a shared lunch and access to community support services.
