Maybe it’s the media, possibly Hollywood films but there’s no doubt about it men are taking more care over their appearance and spending more money than ever on male grooming.

The number of men’s beauty products increased by more than 70% worldwide between 2012 and 2014 and men’s skin care alone has been a multi-billion dollar global industry.

So what are the popular treatments that are a must-have for men?

Get your wax strips out – men aren’t that keen on too much hair. Removing hair on chests and below necks is the second most popular grooming treatment after a trip to the barbers for a haircut or short back and sides.

Manicures are also one of the less stigmatised areas of male grooming. A businessman with well –groomed clean hands always creates a good impression at meetings and corporate functions.

Then relaxing facials are the third favoured beauty treatment by men.

It’s just as well men care about their appearance as a 2013 survey revealed that Australian men were the sexiest in the world with men wanting to look like Hugh Jackman and the Hemsworth brothers.

They also aspire to be 5 feet 9 inches in height and weigh 189 pounds. Hmmm… not sure we can help anyone to gain height but we can certainly send them to the gym to tone up!
