Practical support and help you need to study online

At TrainSmart Australia, we aim to help people find meaningful careers through our high quality training and nationally recognised Certificate and Diploma courses. With 5 faculties, more than 30 courses, and a team of over 45 staff, you can study your course online or on-campus with confidence, knowing TrainSmart Australia's team of expert trainers and student support staff will be with you every step of the way.

Most TrainSmart courses are a combination of campus attendance and online and home study. Independent learning is the focus and attendance at our modern and fully-equipped learning campuses which can be from 2-8 days each month. This means that most of your study will be away from campus. This can be quite challenging as,unlike your normal work environment, much of your time will be spent working by yourself, in more isolated circumstances, and with little direct contact with other students. Because of this, it’s important that you maintain contact with your support networks including your TrainSmart trainers and mentors, your friends and family, and your study networks.

TrainSmart trainers and mentors

Your TrainSmart trainers and mentors are the most valuable resource you have access to whilst studying as they have the knowledge and experience to help you navigate your course and ultimately achieve your study goals. Full trainer and mentor support is available throughout your studies online and they should always be the first person you contact whenever you need assistance.

Friends, family, and study networks

Your other support networks such as friends and family are equally valuable, especially for maintaining your focus and enthusiasm, as they will want to see you achieve your goals just as much as you do. However, they only know so much about what you are doing, so it can be just as important to maintain online and offline study networks. These need to be like-minded students who are in the same field and doing what you are doing. Indeed, today we are more accustomed to having online social media relationships and it has become one of the primary modes of communication; online study networks offer the same ease of communication and is an invaluable tool. In your study you will be a member of the TrainSmart Australia Student Portal on the new innovative Moodle where you will receive updates on schedules, class status, new facilities and promotions. It is here that you can also speak to other students, acting as a space where you can ask each other questions about your progress in the course, and share study habits and any other useful information.
