Have you met the TSA student support team?

At TrainSmart Australia, we aim to help people find meaningful careers through our high quality training and nationally recognised Certificate and Diploma courses. With 5 faculties, more than 30 courses, and a team of over 45 staff, you can study your course online or on-campus with confidence, knowing TrainSmart Australia's team of expert trainers and student support staff will be with you every step of the way.

If you have been thinking about studying online with Trainsmart Australia but still have a few questions or concerns, our dedicated full time Career and Student Support team are here to give you all the guidance you need to become a better version of yourself. The feedback we constantly hear from our students is that our team is like nothing they have ever experienced before and we would love for you to meet them!

Victoria Astengo loves connecting and engaging with people in a real and authentic way, making a meaningful impact in our students lives. Committed to ongoing personal and professional development, she is passionate about expanding her knowledge and learning new things. Besides enjoying pizza, creating to-do lists and meeting various challenges, she loves travelling and immersing herself in different cultures.

Kerry Chatt is a friendly and bubbly, happy-go-lucky person. Kerry loves to assist our students and guide them through a process of choosing a course. She is planning to undertake studies herself to give her young daughter the best start to her life. She is willing to demonstrate she can achieve anything if she puts her mind to it.

Nicolaas Kruger is one of our Information Technology Trainers and IT support staff here at TrainSmart Australia. He has 37 years of IT experience. This includes installing of hardware and software such as Building Managements Systems (BMS) among others. His IT knowledge enables him to do Training at Diploma Level and also provide IT support for online students. He also likes flying Drones as a hobby. One of his strong beliefs as a Christian, is to help and support other people in need. So for him, student support comes naturally and he’s not afraid to go the extra mile – in helping our students with any IT issues that may arise.

Benjamin Arntzen is an IT Administrator who also works with our Student Support/Academic Administration team. He is the President of the Perth Linux Users Group and a regular speaker at PLUG events. Benjamin takes a keen interest in cryptography, distributed systems, open source software and technology and Creative Commons. He is passionate about the democratization of technology – as well as education – in making it more readily available for the next generation.

Amy Hunt is the youngest member of our Student Support team – but what she lacks in age, she more than makes up in vibrancy and enthusiasm. In her free time, she plays football as well as softball at a high level. She’s always keen to assist and says she gets immense satisfaction from seeing students reach their goals, whilst gladly doing all she can to help them succeed in fast-tracking their careers.

Jessica Rossi is also part of our Student Support team and is currently completing a Double Major in Nursing and Midwifery. She believes that it’s never too early or too late to pursue the career you’ve always dreamed of. “Always have faith in your path and the light will guide you all the way. The future of your journey depends solely on what you do today” she says.
