TrainSmart Australia is proud to be on the panel of approved providers for the Jobs & Skills WA Participation Equity Program. The state is encouraging people to gain skills and knowledge that align with current requirements for industry and employers.

Are you eligible?

You are eligible for a guaranteed training place if you have left school, your primary place of residence is in Western Australia and you are:

  1. An Australian citizen; or
  2. A permanent visa holder or holder of visa subclass 309, 820 or 826; or
  3. A dependent or spouse of the primary holder of a visa subclass 457.

Your place in the course will be guaranteed and your training subsidised if:

  1. The course has been identified as a State priority course;
  2. A Registered Training Organisation (RTO) has a training place available; and
  3. You meet the normal entrance requirements for the course.

Under Jobs & Skills WA, students can take up guaranteed training places in the following priority industry qualifications (You can click each one for more information): *

Participation Equity

From the 1st of January, 2020, the Department of Training and Workplace Development through their Jobs and Skills WA program, have reduced the course tuition cost of 34 priority qualifications!

*All students aged 15 – 24 are eligible for the annual concessioan cap of $400 per course per year.
