CUA51015 Diploma of Screen and Media

Step outside of the box and live life a little less ordinary.

Playing a critical role in the film, television and theatre industries, a make-up artist uses a range of media applied to the skin and hair to transform an everyday look into a range of different looks. On a film set or backstage at a theatre production, make-up artists are often involved in conceptualising the appearance of characters through to physically applying the make-up necessary to bring them to life.

TrainSmart Australia’s CUA51015 Diploma of Screen and Media course has the best reputation in Perth, and has been helping students make their way into the exciting world of make-up for a number of years by offering guaranteed work experience in the industry.

In this makeup course, aspiring make-up artists will be taught the full range of these skills, including fashion make-up, hair styling, special effects, camouflage, air-brushing and much more. This highly practical and hands-on course gives students the opportunity to apply the techniques they learn using real people as their canvas. Working from a dedicated campus in the heart of Perth’s CBD, students are taught by our highly experienced, award-winning trainers who also work professionally in the make-up industry themselves.

On completion of the Screen and Media qualification, you’ll be qualified to work as a make-up artist in a number of different fields and media. These include television, theatre, fashion, film, print, magazines, red carpet and celebrity work, events and many more. You could be employed in a range of businesses, or work on a freelance basis.
