Mental Health Peer Work

Do you have your own personal lived experience of mental illness? Are you passionate about helping people suffering from mental health issues?

With our  CHC43515 Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work, you could be on your way to a rewarding career as a recovery worker, carer support worker, peer support worker, community support worker, youth worker or family advocate worker.

This course will give you all the essential knowledge and skills in mental health you need to implement programs and activities to improve mental health and well-being in a variety of settings.

To check your eligibility for JSWA government-subsidised training, please phone our career advisor Brenda –  a qualified Mental Health Peer Worker – for information and enrolment enquiries on: (08) 9265 9663.

We still have a number of Jobs & Skills WA Government funded courses in selected areas, as well as flexible payment options including monthly payments. Places are limited, so be sure to contact TrainSmart Australia if this is of interest to you – so we can secure your spot in 2018.

Learning is a life-long process and to that end we will support you in your current training and aim to make your time with us enjoyable and rewarding. Whether you are looking for a TAFE course or an online diploma, our team of educators and blog writers look forward to providing any necessary advice on training choices and support throughout your course.
