It’s been dubbed the single biggest flexible learning innovation since online learning began. I am talking about a Moodle. ‘What’s that?’ I hear you cry. Well, its full name is Modular Object-Orientated Dynamic Learning Environment, but let’s just call it by its nickname.
A Moodle is an online learning platform which allows students to study flexible courses from their home computer or laptop. They’ve been around for a few years but now they’re getting more adventurous and more exciting.
The rise of the Moodle has led to the opening up of training and education to people from all walks of life and all ages and what’s more, it was developed here on Australian soil.
It was introduced in 2002 by Martin Dougiamas to help educators create online courses with a focus on interactive content. Sounds complicated? Not at all…..
Here at TrainSmart Australia, we are proud and excited to announce the development of our new Moodle where the participants, students, and trainers can access not only their course schedule and assignments but also undertake creative online learning.
Our latest e-learning management system is now more personalised, interactive and easier to navigate especially when using mobile phones or tablets.
Student Egan Uata is very impressed with our new Moodle. The 23-year-old studying the Double Diploma in Business and Management with TrainSmart Australia TSA College of Business, Leadership and Management says “The text is clearer and this Moodle is far more user-friendly on my smaller tablet, making learning a pleasant experience”.
Our new TrainSmart Moodle includes quizzes, forums and an area where our students, trainers, and participants can post comments and ask questions. And what’s more by using plug-ins and add-ons the platform can constantly evolve. Want to find out more? Well then best join up for one of our courses and you’ll be part of 70 million people worldwide, currently using a Moodle.
