The course provides an innovative and effective way to practice using Microsoft Office applications. It also provides an overview of the basic components and functions of computer hardware and operating systems, file management as well as online safety and security. The Desktop Pro teaches basic computer skills and use of Microsoft Office applications such as:

  • Microsoft Word  (create, format and print documents, manage tables, use themes and templates)
  • Excel (use spreadsheets, enter data, print worksheets, format cells, perform calculations)
  • PowerPoint (create slideshows, deliver PowerPoint presentations, insert pictures)
  • Microsoft Access (store data, create queries to retrieve data, build forms and reports)

Microsoft Client Pro

This course is designed to prepare you for two Microsoft certification programs:

  • Microsoft 70-698: Installing and Configuring Windows 10, which can be used as credit for the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 10
  • Microsoft 70-697: Configuring Windows Devices can be used as credit for the following Microsoft certifications:
    • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 10
    • Microsoft Specialist: Windows 10

Microsoft Server 2012 Pro: Install and Configure 

Our practice exams and virtual labs will measure your ability to design, implement, configure, and manage a Windows network that incorporates Windows Server 2012. We’ll measure not just what you know, but what you can do. This course is designed to prepare you for the Microsoft’s 70-410 exam, a requirement for:

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

Passing this exam validates a candidate’s ability to administer the tasks required to maintain a Windows Server 2012 infrastructure, such as user and group management, network access, and data security. Microsoft Server 2012 Pro: Advanced Services

The Advanced Services course is the capstone of our MCSA certification track. The advanced lab simulations in this course allow students to practice complex tasks that they would be expected to perform on servers at a midsize business. This course prepares students for Microsoft’s Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services exam. Passing this exam validates a candidate’s ability to perform the advanced configuring tasks required to deploy, manage, and maintain a Windows Server 2012 infrastructure, such as fault tolerance, certificate services, and identity federation. Topics include:
