Top marks for TrainSmart Australia from Double Diploma student

We always like to receive feedback from our students as we like to find out about their learning experience. We recently heard from Angela Surtees who was enrolled into two separate qualifications, a Diploma of Business and a Diploma of Leadership and Management. She was very enthused about both her course and trainer as this letter demonstrates:
“My enrollment was the result of a chance phone call at a time when I needed extra skills to expand on my reasonably unattractive resume. After 5 years out of the workforce, I needed to do something which would show employers, that while I had not been working, I hadn’t remained stagnant.
I was hesitant in starting, as my previous encounters with online training were less than ideal, but that was until I met my trainer, Lorraine. She was knowledgeable and capable and it was very clear she knew what she was talking about, but at the same time, she was real.
In the two years, I have known Lorraine, she has been extremely supportive. I have never been made to feel inferior over my lack of knowledge and have always felt nothing but support and friendship from her.
Even though I have 5 children, and run a photography business, I always enjoyed our regular training sessions. I was highly motivated to find the time for these sessions. As well as helping myself to achieve future career goals, I wanted to make Lorraine proud of me, so that she felt she was succeeding in her job.
I have nothing but respect for TrainSmart Australia and what they are trying to achieve by making everyday people like myself, better equipped with essential commercial tools. In my case, I now have the confidence to meet with potential clients and investors to expand my photography business.
I now conduct my business in a different way having learned so much on the Moodle learning platform. In 2016 I secured bookings for three weddings whereas previously I had none. I have made another four bookings in 2017 and it is only February.
I would recommend TrainSmart Australia to my friends. Online training has worked for me. TrainSmart Australia always made me feel like completion was possible. Being at home and studying online, felt no different than studying in a classroom.
