I have over twenty years’ experience in the community sector, working (and volunteering) for not-for-profit and local/state government community development/youth sectors (including international experience in Cambodia). Some of my experience is collaboratively supporting, developing and implementing youth and general community projects eg community gardens, youth community newspapers, alternative schoolies programs, youth skate/music/arts facilities, youth events, youth outreach and youth training programs.
My lecturing experience extends over ten years in the training sector. My qualifications are the Diploma of Youth Work, Bachelor of Commerce (International Business) and a Graduate Diploma Education (Tertiary and Adult). My research focussed on the links between education and alleviating disadvantage in communities.
