Matthew Pasquill has over 15 years’ experience in the community services industry working for agencies based in youth support, crisis care and accommodation, community development, mental health, addiction and adult education.
Prior to community services, Matthew was a professional dancer, singer, actor working both nationally and internationally for 25 years.
Commencing as a youth worker and juvenile justice professional, Matthew worked through project management, youth services coordination, and education behavioural support, and has numerous published works on “young people’s engagement” and “education through arts”.
Matthew has worked for numerous local governments as community development officer and has an interest in community development and community participation.
In recent years, Matthew has specialised in mental health as well as drug and alcohol counselling and still works for one of Perth’s largest drug and alcohol services on a weekly basis.
