When I was young, I attended a life seminar and one of the quotes from that event which has stayed with me all this time and has motivated me in my life is “heal, touch and inspire people”. Since then I have spent 30 years of my working life gathering knowledge and making sure I strive to give the best in whatever I do. I have spent 10 years working within the healing industry.
My quest for permanent cures led me to study naturopathy, yogic sciences and I set up and established “Guiding Light” a Holistic Center. I also undertook a Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Notre Dame University and completed a Masters in Neuro Linguistic Programming. Other areas of interest are time line therapy, hypnotherapy, imago relationships and forensic healing.
I worked as a counsellor and educator in areas such as mental Illness, addictions, marriage counselling, trauma work and laughter therapy. As well as being a trainer and assessor within the TSA Faculty of Health and Community on the Diplomas of Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs and Counselling, I am also a counsellor.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, singing and playing the guitar. I also have a passion for cooking, and have a great faith and worship regularly.
